Aiaseiield scored 185, and Roots 182. in tliy fcjargood GoJd Cup, lor teams of lour, tho winners were, the Kandwiok Literary Lnstitute, which scored 277', Britishers 275, Marlborougu 268, but as some oi : thw Maryborough representatives were only honorary members they had to forego the third prize of £12, which went., to Lithgow, iwith a score of 267. The shoot-oil; oi the tie in the second stage of the Kina'e Prize resulted in Kendall beating Richardson by one point. FACE WINS THE KING'S PRIZE. The last stage oi the t King's Prize, SOU and 900 yards, was' fired m aheavy erratic wind, the dull and uneven light being rendered worse 'by clouds oi dust, The conditions pro rod fatal to tho chances of those more prominont in tho early rounds. The winner was J. Face, of Sydney, with a score oi 327. Porritt (Lithgow) was second with 326. At SOU yards Porritt'y total was 257, and Face's 254. Face at 900 yards put on thirteen bulls and two foure, just beatnig Porritt by tho last shot. Richardson (Britain) made 320. The New Zealanders were not among the first flight, but the detailed scores are not available to-night.
