Christchurch, October 28. The body found on the North beach, New Brighton, ■'yesterday, has been identied as that of Frank Jarvis, formerly occupied as a cook at Warner's Hotel. He was single and had no relatives in New Zealand.

Henry Robert Turner, married, aged 71, dropped dead from heart failure this afternoon while carrying a sofa downstairs at his home.
