WEDDING BELLS.

A pretty ivedding ivas solemnised at St. John's Church, Feilding, on Wednesday, April 28, by Archdeacon Innes Jones, the contracting parties being Miss Violet Beatrice Kitchen, third daughter of Mr and Mrs AY. Kitchen, Aorangi street, lending, and Lewis Charles, only son ot the late Mr L. Cbristgnscn and of Mrs Christenson, of Kimbolton. The bride, who Avas given aAvay by her brother, Mr AY. Kitchen, looked charming in a goivii of white oharmeuse satin, trimmed Avith silver tissue and pearls, and wore a beautiful embroidered veil hnished Avith pearls and orange blossoms, and carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums and maidenhair fern. The bride ivas attended by her sister, Miss Gladys Kitchen, who wore a pretty "shell pinF crepe de chine dress and black picture hat, and carried a pretty bouquet of pink and blue fiWcrs unci maidenhair fern; as well as Miss Lenar Christenson, sister of the bridegroom, who ivas dressed in white silk and georgette and black picture hat. Mr H. Haycock ivas best man, and Mr A. Kitchen ay.is groomsman. Alter the ceremony the guests Avere entertained at tho residence of the bride's parents. The bridesmaids Avere presented ivitb handsome gold brooches. Tlie happy couple left later by car, the bride travelling in a fawn cloth costume and vieux rose hat.
