BIG GUN ACCIDENT.

MAN INJURED AT FORT BASTION. During the big gun practice of the No. 1 and No. 7 companies of the Auckland Garrison Artillery Division on Saturday at Fort Bastion, an accident occurred, and as a result Corporal Victor Hugh ToAvnsend, aged 36, a married man, living at Abbotsford Terrace, Devonport, is- uoav lying at the Auckland Hospital.
