Forster has been appointed Governor-General of Australia. (Lord Forster has beeii M.P. for Sevenoaks, Kent, from -1892 until he was recently elevated to the peerage. He is 54 years of age, and ivas married to the daughter of the first Lord Montagu of Beaulicu in 1890.* He played in the Eton XL, the Oxford XL, and for Giitlemen v. Players at cricket. He was a member of the Army Council and Financial Secretary to tho War Office since 1915.)
