FEILDING BOROUGH COUNCIL. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of" the Borough of Feilding proposes to raise a SPECIAL LOAN as hereinafter sot forth under .he provisions of "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913" and "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908" and their respective amendments. 1. The purpose for which the said loan is to be raised is (a) to instal additional plant in connection with Electric Lighting System; (b) to pay for portion of plant already purchased out of overdraft 2. The sum proposed to be borrowed for such purpose is Fourteen Thousand Pounds (£14,000). 3. The security for the repayment of such loan and the interest and sinking fund shall be a Special Rate of Nineteen thiity-seconds (19-32nds) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough of Feilding, and the said loan is to be for a period of 36. years and the interest i not more than 5\ per cent, per anI num, and sinking fund at not more than 1 per cent, per annum. 4. To be floated locally or otherwise by the issue of Debentures under the provisions of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913," and their respective amendments and all other authorities and powers (if any) enabling the Feilding Borough Council in that behalf. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Feilding proposes to raise Special Loans as hereinafter set forth:— 1. The purposes for which the said loans are to be raised are as follows :-— (a) To Erect Memorial to Fallen Soldiers. (b) To Purchase Road Machinery. 2. The sums proposed to be borrowed for such purposes are:— (a) £3500 (Three Thousand Five Hundred Pounds). (b) £2500 (Two Thousand Five Hundred Pounds) 3. It is proposed to appropriate and pledge as security for the said loans and the interest and charges thereon Special Rates of: (a) One-eighth (Jth) (b) Three thirty-seconds (3-32nds) of a penny in the pound on the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property of the Borough of Feilding. It is proposed that the whole of the loans shall'be repayable at the expiration of a period of 20 years computed from the Ist day of September, 1920. 4.
