PURCHASE OF ESTATES
The Minister ol" Lands (Hon. 1). H. (juthrie) announces that the following estates have been purchased in the Nelson district for subdivision arid settlement by returned .soldiers :-— [ Kerr Bros.' property, Motupiko Valley, 3835 acres, grazing country.
Walker Bros.' properly, Mnrvia. Murchison, 7353 acres, suitable for mixed grazing and dairying.
Matakitakai station. Murchison, •2701.) acres, mostly level flats. It adioins an area of Crown land, for the opening up of which it will provide an outlet.
P. W. OxnamV property. Tukuki, 17 Aiilcs from Murehisoii. l.'iS. r > aere-s. This will also provide an outlet for Crown land.
The Minister also aitiiounecs the purchase of Orinond'-- estate. Wallinglord, llawke's Bay, L'tlO acres. This property wilt cut into five or six .sections.
