At the Aldington market there iverc largo yardings of fat sheep and fat cattle, but the entries in the other departments were only moderate. It is expected that the curtailment in the railway service will affect offerings in the future. Local supplies of fat sheep are now very shorthand requirements will have to be lined from a distance* which makes the position more difficult during a restricted railway service. Store sheep sold at about the same rates as before the snowstorm last week. The market opened elnek, hut an intimation was given by the railway authorities that lite evening trains would carry as many sheep as they could, and this brightened up the market.
