(Per Press "Association.) Dunedin, July 3. K.'iin fell steadily during the greater part of the clay. Some houses in East Tiiicri are surrounded by water. Stock have been removed from lowlying Jirons. which in some cases arc covered by 3or 4 feet of water. Some paddocks at Otokia and Henley are flooded, but the Taiori rivor is within its banks. Overflow of the Waipori river has flooded the southern part of tho Taieri Plain. The Henley-Berwick road is covered by two feet of water. Portion of tho Outram lino is submerged. It is unlikely tho train will run to-morrow. The Taieri river at Middlemarcli roso 18 inches after 0 o'clock. Tho water was starting to spread over tlie adjoining country at 10 o'colck.
