Auckland, July 4. The transport Tahiti arrived this morning, via Panama, with 1194 troops on board. They are all A Class men. There wan no sickness, excepting a few cases of mumps. Tho voyage was uneventful, excepting that the Tahiti had a narrow escape from being run down a week after leaving Colon, during a heavy fog. She slowed down and stopped. Another big ship swept across her hows, the Tariti just passing her .-intern.
