Kaiapoi, the little Canterbury township, might never have been heard of outside New Zealand, had it not been for the woollen goods which bear its name, and have done go much to advertise it everywhere. Just in the very same way "Gold Pouch" tobacco for the pipe and Three Diamonds or Red Shag for Cigarettes are making Hawke's Bay famous. What makes New Zealand-grown tobacco superior to the foreign article is its small percentage of nicotine and its unequalled combustibility, leaving alone its unique flavour and aroma. It has been found that pome of the imported brands of tobacco ore most injurious to health, affecting Uie nerves and often the heart in a serious way. The N.Z. product has no such deleterious properties even when -moked continuously, on the contrary it has rather a soothing effect atifl doctors have recommend id it when the use of foreign tobnm would have been of grave consequences to the .•system of the patient. No doubt for nil these reasons N.Z. tobacco has become immenseiy popular, so mncb co that the demand now fur exceeds the capacity of the mi nnfaH nr*rt Sufferers from Hnv Fpve.r will enjoy Fpeedy relief by breathing in "NAZOL." A unique, never-failing remedy. 60 dopes Is fid. Use the Ynr-ol f-n^"'" ATHLETES' rAVOFHITE. Athletes use Chamberlain's Pain Balm to prevent lameness after any violent exercise.
