PARCELS FOR PRISONERS.

The Defence Department notifies that the quarterly parcels for prisoners of war which were to be sent under the coupon system will not now be accepted by post offices, as the Government considers that ail prisoners of war, under the terms of the armistice, wil be shortly repatriated, and no good purpose can be served in sending such parcels now.
