On Monday we Jield a sale ox dairy stock on account of Mr W. V. B. Pe&rce, llangiotu. Notwithstanding t'la inclement weather, there was a. very large attendance—buyers being piesent from Waikato, Taranaki, Masteiton, and local districts. Competition was brisk throughout, and tho whole herd of 205 head sold at satisfactory prices: 81 cows in milk aveiaged £8 18s Bd, selling from £7 to £16; 71 springing cows averaged £10 16b best prices being £14 10s, £15 10s, £15 15s, £16 ss, £18 10s; 45 heifers in calf (some small and backward) averaged £7 2s 9d, making from £5 to £11 10s; 2 and 3-year Holstem bulls £10, £10 15s, £11 ss, 2-year S.H. bulls £14 10s, £15, £16 ss, 4year S.H. bull £13 10s.
