In the House of Representatives yesterday, Mr. J. Vigor Brown (Napier )gave notice to ask the Premier, whether, in view of tho widespread dissatisfaction with the Defence administration, lie will take the usual constitutional course to remove the Hon. Sir James Allen from the position of Minister of Defence —(laughtor) —and appoint in his stead a Minister more in sympathy with the soldiers and possessing to a. fuller extent tho confidence of the people.
