SETTLEMENT OF SOLDIERS
AFTER THE WAR
[United Service Telegram. J (Received June 29. 9.5 a.m.) London, Juno 28. It is understood that the Empire Settlement Committee recommends Imperial financial assistance, being granted towards the settlement ot soldiers in particular areas Overseas, si&u towards the transporting ol emigrants. The Committee suggest that a census of soldiers bo taken to ascertain tlio number desiring to go on the land. Their recommendations aro based on tho assumption that tho percentage oi soldiers desiring to go on the land will be high. _____
