EARLY CLOSING PETITION.
Dannevirke, Juno 27. An early closing petition, containing 19G2 names of electors in tho Waipawa electorate, was presented to Mr G. Hunter, who pledged himself to do all ho could to secure G o'clock clos ing. If that were no possible achievement, he would endeavour to secure tlio largest possible curtailment of the existing hotel hours.
