THE LYCEUM.
Tho capital programme screened at fclic Lyceum last night contained two star attractions and a Gazette. The first oi: the big items was the sth episode of the Billie Burke serial, "Gloria's Romance." Under the title of ''The Social Vortex," we meet Gloria at the opera, where last week she hart coino to the staggering realisation that Freneau had failed to recognise her. But ho soon finds out his blunder and rectifies it. Some interesting (scenes are shown and Gloria's beautiful frocks are a feature of tho picture. "The Honourable Algy," featuring Charles Ray, is the other attraction, which is well worth seeing. Algy, the youngest son of an impoverished English house., sets forth to retrieve the FainiJv fortune. On the boat he meets the wealthy Dryker family, whoso jewels disappear on the voyage. Algy obtains possession of them in a peculiar manner, and they lead to all sorts of good fortune jor him and his. Tin's fine -programme will be repeated tonight.
