London, Juno 23. Sir Douglas Haig reports: We raid- j ed positions northward of Gavrelle. Wo were successful in a local operation m the neighbourhood of Warneton. i We repulsed enemy raiders eastward j of Ypres. We repulsed raiders eastward of ,l.pehy, the enemy leaving several dead on our wire. We took a few wounded men prisoners. An enemy attempt at Guillemont farm in the same neighbourhood failed. Our aeroplanes co-operated with the artillery with good results, despite bad weather. We brought down ono, and drove down six other machine... Three of ours are missing. PATROL ENCOUNTERS. (Received June 25. 10.15 a.m.) London, June 24. Sir Douglas Haig reports patrol encounters southward of the Scarpe and ho-filo artillery activity at Croiselles and Messines.
