Prices were firm, and gradually improved about £1. .Best bullocks'£l9, £22, extra heavy £24, £26 IDs, medium £15, £18, best cows, heifers £15, £.17, extra heavy £25 ss, medium £11. 10s. £13 10s.
Sheep (2000 penned).—Prices were firm. Prime were a. little dearer. Towards the close values hardened somewhat. Best wethers 335, 3.75, extra prime 455, good 30s 6d, 325, medium, iinlinished 28s, 295. best ewes 275, 31s, extra heavy 41s 9d, medium 20s, 235. Lambs (330 penned). — Graziers were bidding. Unfinished, best 24.5, 26s 6d, extra heavy 30s. 345, others ISs, 19s Gd.
There Avas a small yarding of pigs. and price« were about the same as last 'week. . ■■--
