OF COMMONS

London, August 15

In the House of Commons, an Irish member complained that Irishmen temporarily resident in England wero forced to serve in the army.

Mr Hugh Law (Nationalist member for Donegal) declared tbey had been arrested in droves, and marched through die streets iv handcuffs. The Hon. Mr Forster said that if it could bo proved that migratory labourers wero improperly taken intothe army they would no doubt be given an opportunity for obtaining their discharge.
