THE DARDANELLES.
WHO WILL BE ON THE COMMISSION ? [Australian-N.Z. Cable Association.] London, July 21. There is much speculation as to the selection of an Australasian representative on the Dardanelles inquiry. It is cxpeet'ed that the personnel will be announced on Monday, when the Bill will be introduced. The committee begins its investigations without delay!" It is understood that the Dominion Governments have been asked for nominees. Although Mr Asquith mentioned only Australia, it is presumed that New Zealand will also b e represented. It is generally considered that the 'impending inquiry will not suffice because most of the senior Anzac officers are absent on service and Australasia will wish for a closer enquiry than on tho large questions of policy and expediency.
