Rain has fallen generally, and considerable snow on the higher levels. In the south strong south-easterly Avinds have predominated and atmospheric pressure has increased. TO-DAY'S FORECAST. The indications are for variable northerly winds, moderate to strong prevailing. The weather will probable be cool' anil changeable. The nightwill probably be very cold. Barometer unsteady.
