POSTPONED THE RACES.
Recently, tbe Prime Minister communicated with the Cauerbury Jockey Club with regard to the clashing of their meeting on Easter Tuesday with Anzac. Day. He .suggested that the club might ccc their way lo postpone the meeting in view of the celebrations, partly religious and partly patriotic, that. w<>ro lob held throughout the Dominion on A.nzae Day. Last liigbf Mr Ma.s.sey received the following reply from the. secretary of the. club: "At your request., the committee have, postponed Tuesday's races."
