IN A MOTOR CAR ACCIDENT. PEB JPBEBB ABbOOIATION. Chi'istchurch, September 13. A motor car accident occurred in Ashley riverbed, llangiora, on Saturday evening, resulting in the death of Mi' Leonard Stackhouse, aged 27 years, youngest son of Mr J. Stackhouse, of Mount Brown station, near Amberley. The car collided with a gig, and the shaft of the latter struck Mr Stackhouse in the stomach. ■He was removed to the hospital, where he died yesterday, after an operation.
