■ l«e» SANDON HOGGET SALE. I . I Dalgety and Co. report haying held I their third annual hogget sale at San- ■ don in yards kindly lent by Mr H. J. 1 I'agan, on Thursday, when the yard- > ing comprised 5347 hoggets and one ■ lot of 75 light fat wethers. The sheep came forward in very good order, and some exceptionally nice lines were penned. There was a very- large at--1 tendance of the local public, and buyi crs were also present from Wanganui, [ ■ Waverley, Taranaki, and up the .Main I Trunk line. Competition was aniI mated right throughout the sale, and ' all lines changed hands at auction > at prices with which vendors in every instance lexpressed tliemeslves most highly pleased.
