We made appreciable progress, particularly in the centre, where we captured a portion of the depression leading to Dolurdo, The enemy's artillery threw incendiary shells on the Monialcone dock.yard, causing a great fire, and, by a curtain of shrapnel, attempted to prevent us extinguishing it; but we succeeded, and the damago was restricted.
