ANXIETY IN HOLLAND.
Amsterdam reports a wave of anxiety in tho Dutch press, which is ■ declaring that tho Netherlands Avill commit suicide in a cowardly manner unless ovory offort is made to strengthen her defensive forces. Tho articles indicate a realisation of tho dangers of unpreparcdness, and tho popular clamour for an army of six hundred thousand men, many cannon, and ecvoral aircraft. The War Minister is introducing a Bill a_ a step towards general military service. BOMB DROPPED ON A PICTURE THEATRE. "WarsaAV, Juno 2. A bomb dropped by a German aeropiano struck a cinema theatre at Girador, Poland, when it Avas full of people. Tho bomb pierced the roof and exploded, killing six persons and wounding 25, mostly women and children. GREECE MAY COME IX. Paris, June 2. A Rome telegram to the Petit Journal states that after tho elections Greece may possibly join the Entente. Jho Balkans' Consuls at "Rome aro making great efforts to this end.
