MANAWATU RUGBY UNION.
The Manawatu Rugby Union Committee held its weekly meeting last evening. Present: Messrs J. F. Manning (President), Vice-President C. McWilliamsj Delegates J. Stalker, It. Murray, E. Nash, J. Hardie, Wariklyn, and the secretary.
"it was.decided to allow United and Western clubs to combine for the present season.
It was decided to raise the Palmerston High School and Feilding thirds to juniors, and entries now include Huia, Feilding, Palmerston High School, and United-Westernj that on account of amalgamation of the Western and United teams, matches played on May 10 be declared void, which leaves the position of Orientals, Huia, and Feilding one win each; that the junior competition start next Saturday, June 5.
The whole matter of third-grade teams is left in the Lauds of Messrs Murray and J. Hardie to make arrangements. Eii'orts to be made to organise teams from cadet corps.
