Tho local branch of Tunibull, Martin, and Company has received cable advice that the Argyllshire, which was torpedoed by a submarine vii Land's End, reached Havre undamaged. AN INCENDIARY'S WORK. Auckland, June 1. A fire broke out at the rear of St. James , Hall, "Wellington street, at 1 o'clock this morning. The damage was sli"ght. There are evidences of incendiarism, a gas jet in the lavatory having been turned on and a piece of piping attached so as to direct the flame to the woodwork.
