ON THE FIRING LINE.
ACTIVITIES NEAR THE DUTCH BORDER. (Received Dec. 21, 9.25 a.m.) Amsterdam, December 20. Refugees report that the Germans have posted eight 15-centimetre guns and several machine guns on the sand dunes between Duinsergen and Heyat. along the Dutch frontier, between CostUam and Meerhout.
The Telegraaf states that fierce gun lire took place along the coast on Saturday, assisted by warships. Trains of wounded arrived at Bruges, but most of them were sent further eastward.
