MAIN TRUNK EXPRESS RUNS INTO MOB OF BULLOCKS.
The southward-bound express which passed through Feilding early yesterday morning ran into a mob of 16 I Hillocks at the Kiokio station, just rorth of Otorohanga. Tho engine was damaged so much that a goods train engine, went o ut to the scene of the accident and. towed the express in. Nine out of sixteen of the bullocks! ■which belonged to Mr Ross, wore killed. There was some excitement among the lady passengers. The colision caused a delay of nearly four hours in reaching AVellington. Other trains were held up in consequence.
