Wet, cold, and miserable weather is being experienced her" to-day for the elections. Both parties started right- away at 9 o'clock this morning to carry voters to the polling booths, and indications are that the poll will be a heavy one.

Tho teams aro: Married, Kingdon, Hoffmeister, Sinclair, Douglas, Hart, Mingins, Baldock, Shepherd, Skinner, Mai, Hingstou, Groube, and Moore. Single, Bartholomew, Harrison, Christmas, McDowall, Richardson, "Wilson, Prior, Spooner, Salmon, Dewar, Ellerm, James, and Laing. English and Scotch fiishermen are being encouraged to assist the Navy in its patrol work in the North Sea. According to a notice issued at Lowestoft by the captain in charge of the naval base a reward not exceeding £1000 will be paid to them for information which leads to tho actual capture or destruction of an enemy's vessel down to and including a minelayer or submarine. A sum not exceeding £200 will be paid for information which leads to an enemy's vessel, mine-layer, or submarine being sighted and chased., provided the information is proved to be accurate, even though the vessel be not destroyed.
