MONEY MARKKA. The New Zealand Trade Review (Wellington) says: There is little alteration to record in the condition of the local money market since our last report. The usual calls for funds for gathering and moving the season's produce'are now steadily being made on the batiks, but thero' are sufficient funds to meet these and all other legitimate demands for capital. Our oxpoVts for the year closing on Septoiifbei- 30 maintain an excellent love], and tho new season has made a satisfactory start. A considerable amount depends on weather conditions for tho noxfc two or three months, hut- providing theso do nut prove adverse tlyjro seems every prospect of an eminently satisfactory season, bringing with a good flow of money. Recent figures for our imports are not available at present, but we think they will probably be slightly less than last year, and this would leave » f»j r credit balance on «ur trading. «o far as can be seen at presoafc the t>rospects for general finance tiro for a moderate supply 0 f liuuls, sufficient- to meet legitimate needs.
