"A MESSAGE FKOM MARS" AT THE LYCEUM.
"A Message from Mars," reproduced from an actual performanoe in London by the distinguished English actor, Charles Hawtrey, and his complete company, will be screened to-night. This play ranks very high among the dramatic successes of the age, and owes its great ; popularity to the clever portrayal of the various* , phases of human nature, teaching at the same time a stirring lesson on the evils of selfishness. The acting of Mr Hawtrey in the role of the selfish Horace Parker is a revelation in histrionic ability, and it was a happy idea to reproduce the wonderful play by me&ns of the motion picture. The presentation of this masterpiece of cinematography has been witnessed by crowded houses wherever shown; therefore intending visitors to Feilding's Lyceum are advised to book their seats at Bissett's Book Shop. Notwithstanding the great cost of producing a work of this kind, no advance in the prices of admission will be made. The screening of "The Message from Mars" will occupy the whole of the second part, the first half of the programme being devoted to the exhibition of various interesting and amusing picturps. A matinee will be held to-morrow, at 2.30, when the full programme will be shown. Children will, as ueual, be charged half-price.
