TOO MUCH SPORT.
WORKERS' REDUCED OUTPUT
BRITISH EMPLOYERS' COMPLAINT. SPECIAL TO SYDNEY SUN. London, March 21. The North British Locomotive Company, in explaining why orders for 200 railway engines required in Britain went to foreign competitors, points out that the locomotive could have been made, in this, country if workmen had not .reduced their output. Employers generally affirm that men are devoting too much attention to football and other sports. Glasgow shipbuilders find that labour-saving is only making up for the lessened output.
