Speculation was very brisk, £16,690 being put through the totalisator compared with £12,451 for corresponding day last year. Results: — Omaraiiui Hack Hurdles.—Composed 1, Caber Devon 2, Pikiho 3. Welter Hack, 1 mile.—Sir Daniel 1, Settler 2, Tatimi 3. Won by two lengths. Time, 1.27 4-sth. Sapling Stakes, 5 furlongs.—Hussen 1, La Favourita 2, Tavistock 3. Won by half a length. Time, 1.1.
