TOY SOCIAL.
Sfe. John's Girls' Guild intend to have a Christmae Tree entertainment in December, and the first of a series of socials to raise funds for the purpose will be held in the Parish Hall on Thursday evening next. Tho progiamm<3 will comprise a short euchre and bridge tournament, supper and a dance. To enable everyone to participate admission will be by toy or Is. The idea of providing seasonable entertainment ; for the children in the festive season is such a good one that Thursday's function should attract a good attendance. A meeting of members of the Guild will be held on Monday evening next, at the Parish Hall, at 7.30 p.m.
