FIGHTING.

THE WHITE SLAVE TRAFFIC. SPECIAL TO THE SYDNEY SUN. Melbourne, March 15. A Women's Guild has been formed in Melbourne to take up the question of the white slave traffic. The following resolution shows the purport of the guild: "That the National Council of Women, of which the Women's Guild forms part, be asked to convene a special meeting of its 'members without delay, to devise means to prevent the agents of the white slave traffic obtaining a hold in Australia, and we recommend all their affiliated societies to consider the question." Steps were taken for the distribution of leaflets amongst immigrant girls and others.
