REGARDING ROADMEN'S WAGES.
TO TITE EDITOR OF THE BTAII ton-,—Could you allow me a small space m your paper to speak on Knyitea County Council matters I noticed m Monday week's- paper that a discussion came Tip again regarding 3 lrae ) l^, Wa 2 es ; 3 Some few month! back all the roadmen signed a petition oeW for 9s per clay and at the meeting xt was considered some very nasty remarks were made by one ot the councillors with regard to roadmen. It was then decided to consider it at the end of March, at which meeting I se& the same councillor remarked that some of the men vere not worth 6s per day. which I think is unjust to any man at present working for the Council T wonder if that councillor can pick out those men that are not worth 6s? I doubt it. It 3s now time for the roadmen to speak Jor themselves. Aβ Fhe en up too much of your valuable STONEJ3REAKEH.
