SATURDAY HALF-HOLIDAY LEAGUE.
OVCT fOltj electors, including Several shopkeepers, attended the meeting of the Saturday Half-holiday League in the Public Library last ovening. The requisitions were called, and it was found that nearly 30U signatures had been obtained.* The lists will be presented to the Borough Council to-night. Tho various canvassers reported that the movement had found grea;t favour with the genera: public and the probability of the poll for Saturday being carried was steadily incerasing.
