A BRITISH STEAMER SUNK

Advices have. been received here that the British steamer Canterbury bound from Vladivostok to Colombo, with a. cargo of 6500 tons of beans struck a reef at Ogawa Island, Japan, and sank in thirty fathoms. A Japanese cruiser rescued the crew.
