AMATEUR ATHLETICS.
Judging from the entries received both from local and outside pedestrians, the sports meeting to be held by the Feilding Amateur Athletic Club on the racecourse on Wednesday next should be a success. Great enterprise has been shown by the officials of tho club, for which they are to be congratulated, and it is hoped the public will show its appreciation by giving good support to the first amateur meeting held here.
