At the Supremo Court. Nellie Emmelyiie Christian, aged 30, was sentenced to four years' reformative treatment for va.graiicy; Edwin Fowlds, breaking and entering at Hamilton, two years' hard labour and three years' reformative treatment; William Frederick Murray, aged 19, and Sydney Power, aged 20, for bagsnatching and hotel thefts, one year, and declared habitual criminals; 'Wilfred Augustus Hicks, who forged a cheque at Gisborne, was admitted to probation for three years, the condition of release being that he refrain from betting and attending races.
