RANGITIKEI RIFLE CLUB CHAM-
PIONSHIP MEETING
PEB PBEBS ASSOCIATION. Marton, November 6. The Rangitikei Rifle Club held their annual championship meeting at Bulls to-day. The weather was wretched, rain pouring the whole day, while tho light and wind were bad. In spite of tliese disadvantages, some good shooting was done. " There were about 60 entries, including old champions. Following are the results: — No. 1 match. —Ten shots at 300 yarus. W. A. Lumsden (Bangitikei R.C.) 48, R. J. King (Opaki R.C.) 46, W. Hudson (Linton R.C.) 45, C. Broughton (Rangitikei R.C.) 45, A. Cameron (Opaki R.C.), A. Drummond iWanganui Rifles), and W. Pearce (Rangitikei R.C.) 44, N. Willoughbj and R. Randall (ivarori R.C.) 43. No. 2 Match.—lo shots at 500 yards. Lucas (Linton R.C.) 48, W. Bolton (Opaki R.C), A. Brown (Rangitikei R.C), A. Beetham (Opaki). H. Mercer (Rangitikei R.C), and L. McKelvie (Rangitikei R.C.) 46, W.
