THE COMIC WAY TO DEATH

PEB PBESS ASSOCIATION. Suva, September 24. At the Supreme Court two Indians were charged with murder. In one case the accused attacked his victim, an Indian overseer, and with an open knife almost severed his head from his body. The other accused cut his paramour's throat out of jealousy. They were both sentenced to death. As they were being escorted to gaol they sang comic songs.
