MARTON STOCK SALE

Messrs Dalgety and Co. report: At the Marton sale yesterday there was a good yarding of sheep and cattle. Small mixed hoggets went up to lls lid, and good mixed hoggets to 14s lid. A line of 400 wether hoggets sold at 15s 3d, and a line of 1310 wether hoggets sold at 15s. Cull yearling steers made 31s 6d. 2-year dairy heifers £3 5s 6d, backward dairy cows £3 15s to £4 7s 6d, heifers just calved £6 10s to £7 10s, cows just calved £9, and springing heifers £9.
