A PANIC.
SCENE IN A SYNAGOGUE,

St. Petersburg, Sept. 23. A panic took place at the Synagogue at Torespol, Poland. A lighted lamp was overturned, and the naming oil spread to the women's sec_ tion, which was crowded with worshippers. Four were crushed to death and 23 injured.
