THE HARRIERS.

The Foilding harriers will hold their usual Wednesday run to-mor-row, and if the weather clears a- bit, a big muster is expected. On account of the five-mile, championship coining off on October 2, the ruu will be held over tho course, so that members may get used to it. There Avill also be a run 'home over the last mile for novices, and two prizes will be given. So far this season the younger runners have not done much good in races, and this avill give them a good chance. Two trophies have been presented to the club, one given by Mr Mercer and the other from Mr Noble. The way trophies have been coining in to the club, shows plainly that the residents of Feilding are recognising tho good the harriers are doing. Nominations for the five-mile championship and sealed handicap close with the secretary, Mr C. E. Brown, on .Saturday 28th hist.
