LAST NIGHT'S FORECAST.
PER PRESS ASSOCIATION
Wellington, May 17. Present indications are for strong westerly winds with- sdutiherly tendency, "but probably backing again, and "increasing for extensive westerly storm area, due in the south Sunday evening. Expect unsettled and cloudy weather, with rain generally. Barometer rising temporarily in the south, but falling again soon.
