MENZIES' FORD BRIDGE.
. Eight tenders have been received for the construction of a bridge over tho Oroua River at Menzies' Ford. Tbo Oroua County Council, which is the controlling boely, is' making an inspection of the site this morning, witn ■a > view to preparing plans for protective works. A meeting -of Iho Council will be held tin's afternoon, when the tenders will be considered.
